Upon reading Jay Hobbs’ article, “Abortion fans love choice . . . unless that choice is life,” I would have laughed if the subject were not so serious. An abortion-lobby web site, RHRealityCheck, actually printed an article by Nicole Knight Shine to tell us that somehow, pregnancy help centers offering choice to their clients is questionable medicine.
Knight Shine’s knee jerk article is a knee-jerk reaction to a continuing education course taught at last year’s Heartbeat International Conference in St. Louis (don’t miss this year’s event in Atlanta, by the way). The course, Knight Shine claims, propagated “the myth of undoing a pill-induced abortion.”
Read it for yourself, but Knight Shine’s argument is that through what she terms a “loophole” in law, nurses studying the possibility of reversing a chemical abortion is somehow a disaster that must be stopped. I’m not kidding.
If that’s not enough, California State Senator Jerry Hill (D-San Mateo) is asking for an investigation of the matter in his state, because by golly, we apparently don’t want women out there changing their minds after an abortion.

Yes, this would be comical if the stakes were not so high.
Can I just take a moment here and write without using fancy words? The abortion lobby has gone full-on bonkers. They are (Lord, help me here) nuts. Crazy. Loons.
How in the world can you speak in the name of “choice” and yet lose your mind when someone chooses something other than what you advocate? Jay Hobbs, our editor at Pregnancy Help News, is exactly right when he points out that these people love choice, except for the choice of life. Jay is quickly becoming one of the life community’s leading writers, and his no-nonsense approach is the reason why.
There is no other explanation for the abortion lobby’s panic. None. Nada.
And if I were in Congress I’d say that unless a Planned Parenthood offers reversal of chemical abortion, we need to take away every dollar of its federal funding. Well let’s be honest, I’d take away their money anyway, but you get the point. A billion-dollar organization that supposedly prides itself on offering women “choice” needs to offer choice, do they not?

When it comes to abortion reversal, information is readily available. It’s not a deep secret, hidden from the world. And from all quarters we are seeing a solid success rate. Every situation is different, certainly. But the medical community—at least those who are serious about understanding all aspects of reproductive health—should welcome this.
But of course, the abortion lobby is screaming like a bunch of inebriated hyenas. And they should. The abortion business is in deep, deep trouble.
We are the happy warriors, uncovering the scams and the schemes. So they attack with fury.
For instance, they’ve attacked David Daleiden of the Center for Medical Progress, with an abortion-driven district attorney in Houston making sure to sway a grand jury to indict him after his string of videos showed the truth behind Planned Parenthood. His response was perfect, saying that while he respects the “processes of the Harris County District Attorney,” he points out that “buying fetal tissue requires a seller as well.”

Believe me, if Daleiden’s case ever goes to court, Planned Parenthood will be exposed like never before.
And now, as the abortion lobby sets its sights on Heartbeat International and others who provide expert medical training, they have no idea with whom they are dealing. The abortion lobby looks down on us as small-minded, educationally-challenged, intellectual lightweight; rubes who are in well over our collective heads.
Wrong. Very wrong. Instead the pro-life community is home to some of the brightest legal and medical minds one can find. In addition, we find the biggest hearts right here, in the pro-life world. We knew moments like these would come, and we’ve been preparing diligently for years. If the abortion lobby is begging for a battle, they will get it.
As one life-affirming leader was asked about Sen. Hill’s “investigation” into Heartbeat’s training courses and methods, she responded with three words.
“Bring it on,” she said as a smile creased her face. We are the happy warriors. And we are more than ready.
