Holy Week harassment of the Abortion Pill Rescue Network
Last week was Holy Week, a time to reflect on Christ’s passion, crucifixion, His dying for our sins and His redemptive grace.
But as you might imagine the pro-abortion media takes no breaks from its harassment of those offering life-affirming assistance.
These anti-life zealots who wish to push their political agendas on vulnerable women via electronic print apparently have a lot of time on their hands. 
During most holiday weeks, these reporters call the Abortion Pill Rescue Network (APRN) hotline repeatedly pretending to be a woman in need of help with a false name and story, taking valuable time away from members of the nursing team who care so much for the women we serve.
They tell false stories of abuse and hardship to try to gain more information from our team. They attempt to obtain names and details so they can harass us further.
Some reporters are better actors than others and some even shed tears to make the call seem believable.
Some are women who seemingly mock other women in dire circumstances and others are men pretending to be women.
Many use their real names and emails and don’t even try to hide who they are. Others are better with their lies.

But in the end for them it’s just another story – one that they can sell for profit and send to their other media supporters for reprint.
They care little about the women that they claim to “champion” – those who truly needed help during Holy Week.
And what sort of huge revelation do you suppose they have after days and days of “undercover investigative reporting”?

Their big reveal is often something “scandalous” like “the APRN helps women around the world” or “doctors promote reversal to women who have regret.” 
And our response is always, “Yes, we do. Thank you for reporting a little bit of truth.”
When we read these headlines, we wish they had saved us all a whole lot of time and hassle and maybe just asked, or even just checked our websites.
We gladly share the not-so-shocking news – yes, we actually help women with the choice to reverse a chemical abortion. We shout this from the hilltops!
On one hand, we thank them for their nefarious efforts, because they can actually result in making more women aware that Abortion Pill Reversal is possible, and that we are here to help these women no matter where they are or what time of day it is.

But these unscrupulous reporters take advantage of the empathy shown to women who call our hotline.
They strive to stop women from having choices after an abortion decision was made.
They (falsely) tell others that reversal is not possible or worse, dangerous. They claim APR is unproven (more than 3000 babies and their families would argue otherwise) and while sitting cowardly behind a computer keyboard they mock the real work being done to help women.

We are honored to offer women this support and help, and we hope the reporters who call us learn some things about pregnancy and how abortion actually works.

Day after day - including weekends and holidays - the healthcare professionals of the APR Network are here to help. We take the calls of women desperate for another choice.
Many of these women have been fed the lie that they must complete a medical process they no longer want. Despite their wishes to continue the pregnancy, they are told by media, abortion providers, and pseudo-medical associations that they must end the lives of their children.
But then they make the call … and there is hope. A compassionate nurse listens and explains options.
And many of these women choose life for their children while in the midst of a chemical abortion.
These heroic women are an honor for us to serve and such a pleasure for us to know.
At one point in time, they caved under the pressures, they listened to the doubters, and they felt abortion was the answer. But despite being in these circumstances, these women find the courage to stand up for their precious children and turn the tide a different way.
From that point, approximately 68% of the children will be born.
We celebrate with those 3,000+ moms.
And we grieve with those who lose their babies. They are brave moms too and are often traumatized by the abortion experience. Despite the lies fed to them, they blame themselves for the abortion and often despair after the loss. They deserve better than the abortion industry offered them and so did their babies.
Unlike the pro-abortion, anti-choice media, those of us at APRN actually do champion every woman who contacts us. We stop everything to help her make a way to save her baby. We literally watch the Lord move mountains for them. And we see miracles happen every single day.
