The world’s largest pregnancy help network is accepting proposals from prospective presenters for its premier conference event.

Heartbeat International’s Annual Conference is a central event for the pregnancy help community each year, fostering support for those who serve women and families in need through the pregnancy help movement.

It is designed for ministry leaders, staff, board members and volunteers of life-affirming pregnancy resource centers, medical clinics, maternity homes and non-profit adoption agencies, along with professionals in the areas of medicine, counseling, social work and education.

This year Heartbeat International will celebrate its 50th birthday with an in-person conference, along-side a virtual option. Heartbeat's 49th annual conference this year was completely virtual, meeting attendees' and presenters' needs in an uncertain time, and effectively reaching many participants who might not otherwise be able to attend. The 2021 side-by-side approach will fuse the learning concepts and reach more people with the insights and encouragement that the conference provides each year.

Heartbeat will host the in-person conference in its home city of Columbus, OH.

The event is scheduled for Tuesday, April 27, through Friday, April 30, 2021, and the submission deadline is at hand; October 26, 2020.

Potential presenters are asked to consider what they would like to share with the pregnancy help community in 2021.

There have been many lessons learned from the year 2020, as the movement has had to ascertain new ways to overcome challenging and ever-changing circumstances to continue meeting the needs of clients.

Now more than ever, the 2012 conference will provide the opportunity for pregnancy help servants to share what they have overcome to provide essential love and support to women in unexpected pregnancies, making the movement stronger overall.

Workshop tracks will encompass topics such as leadership/management, medical, fundraising/development, prevention (sexual integrity, sexual health), intervention (client culture, client programs), board of directors business, marketing to clients, staff concerns, extended care (housing, adoption, etc.) and healing (abortion recovery, spiritual wholeness, emotional health, addiction recovery).

Submissions should indicate whether they will be presented in person or on a virtual platform, the overall category of the presentation, the experience level of the intended audience, and which among the pregnancy help organizations – pregnancy help centers, pregnancy help medical clinics, maternity homes, adoption agencies or abortion recovery groups – is the focus.

Pertinent dates are below:
