10 Christians to Stand Before New York Judge for Sidewalk Counseling at Abortion Mill

(PRESS RELEASE) Thomas More Society attorneys are defending pro-life rights in a trial that could impact pro-life advocacy nationwide. The nonprofit national public interest law firm is asking for prayer and court attendance from those in the pro-life community for a trial set to begin in Brooklyn, New York, on Monday, February 12.

Ten members of Church @ The Rock in Brooklyn are being dragged into court in a federal harassment lawsuit by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman. These pro-life sidewalk counselors have been offering life-affirming alternatives to women outside the Choices Women’s Medical Center abortion facility in Jamaica, New York.

The Thomas More Society invites support for the pro-life defendants and asks those who affirm life to join Church @ The Rock, attorneys, and pro-life advocates across the nation in praying for victory.

A Sunday morning worship service at Church @ The Rock will include prayers for their members who are on trial and the attorneys defending them. The group has also issued an invitation for area pro-life advocates to join them in court. A pro-life presence and the prayers of God’s people will help bring evidence of broad support for the sanctity of human life before the judge, demonstrating that pro-life sidewalk counseling is a valued activity, guaranteed as legal by the United States Constitution.
