Husted shared how he was born to a woman who was recently widowed and already had a three-year-old and 18 month-old sons. She became pregnant with another man’s baby. This man wanted her to terminate the pregnancy. His birth mother chose instead to pursue an adoptive home for her son. Husted was in foster care in his infancy and was eventually adopted.
