Heartbeat International joined the Center for Family and Human Rights, Asociacion La Familia Importa, The Global Center for Human Rights, and The Institute for Women’s Health in a panel at the United Nations during the sixty-seventh session of the Commission on the Status of Women on “How Embracing the Geneva Consensus Declaration (GCD) Advances the Well-being of Families, Women and Girls” on March 10, 2023 at 6:30 p.m.
The Geneva Consensus Declaration on Women’s Health and Protection of the Family unites 36 nations in a commitment to create international and domestic policies that promote women’s health while also protecting the family and upholding national sovereignty.

Sponsored by the Permanent Mission of Guatemala to the United Nations and organized by C-Fam, this event highlighted how pro-life policies safeguard the dignity of women and girls and promote optimal health outcomes by protecting their emotional and physical well-being. The Declaration backs a strategic international coalition to protect the sovereign right of nations to support their own core values through national policy and legislation.
