The round-the-clock pro-life contact center that connects vast numbers of people with pregnancy help continually impacts lives one at a time.

Option Line, the only fully staffed, bilingual pro-life contact center in the U.S., receives inquiries by call, text, chat, its center locator and website 24/7 and has connected more than nine million to pregnancy help since opening in 2003.

Option Line consultants help women and men in need find pregnancy help near to them and provide a human lifeline to individuals who may be frightened, feeling pressured by their situation, or are otherwise vulnerable and facing a pregnancy decision.

The 24/7-365 contact center along with the website provides consultation on abortion, adoption, and parenting, schedules appointments in real-time through a state-of-the-art system, and answers after-hours calls for pregnancy help organizations and partnering organizations or hotlines.

Option Line Plus expands 24/7 pregnancy help by adding nurses to provide after-hours educational calls, providing clients with essential information and connecting them to local pregnancy help organizations.

Option Line, a project of Heartbeat International, did all this with a record 2,059,795 connections in 2025, more than five times the prior year’s total.

More than 5,000 people reach out to Option Line each day for help.

But the remarkable volume of lifesaving and life-affirming service provided by Option Line and accompanying growth in connects are still grounded in human connection and compassion.

Option Line consultants connect with people and make a tangible difference, listening to their concerns and situation, and providing concrete assistance and compassion.

Below are some specifics from just five connections that took place in January. The client names have been changed for privacy.

Stella reached out as she was pregnant and under immense pressure from her parents to get an abortion that she didn't want.

The young California woman was scared and worried that her parents may be right about her being too young to make this decision for herself.

After the Option Line consultant spoke with her for some time, Stella said, "Thank you for listening, encouraging me, and treating me with so much kindness.”

“This conversation has helped me feel calmer and more grounded, and I’m really grateful for that," Stella said.

CeCe called Option Line in tears - pregnant, leaving an abusive relationship, and feeling trapped into abortion.

Once the consultant confirmed that CeCe was safe, she listened as CeCe shared her fears and questions.

After hearing about the procedures, risks, and her baby’s development, CeCe said she didn’t feel she could go through with an abortion.

With encouragement and information about support through local pregnancy help centers, CeCe’s tears turned into hope, and the Maryland woman was excited to connect with a pregnancy help center for help moving forward.

Laura was a college student who found out she was pregnant and worried about how she'd cope with having a baby while in school. She also feared that her parents would be disappointed in her.

Laura, who is from Louisiana, didn't initially think she had enough support to be a mom, but her partner had recently shared that he felt they could keep their baby, and that opened options to her that she previously didn't think were possible.

After asking questions about Laura’s thoughts and feelings about her situation and listening to her concerns, the Option Line consultant offered encouragement, information about parenting that Laura had requested, and connected her with a local pregnancy center.

As they wrapped up the conversation, Laura felt even more confident in the support available to her, transforming her uncertainty into confidence.

"Thank you so much for listening and for all your advice!” Laura told the Option Line consultant. “It’s been really helpful to get it all out and think through things."

Laura left the call excited to take the next step of connecting with her local pregnancy center for ongoing help.

Rachel, from Maine, had contacted Option Line in May 2025 via chat. She was a junior in high school at the time and had recently found out she was pregnant. Through her connection with Option Line Rachel had an appointment made with a local pregnancy center.

Rachel reached back out to Option Line in January and had this to say:

"Hi, I talked here last year and had my baby boy in December. I love him more than I ever thought I could and so glad he's here. I’ve thought about everything that led to this, and that conversation really stayed with me, I’m not sure I would have made the same choice without it.

That conversation we had last year really stuck with me and was such a turning point for me when everything felt impossible. I’m so grateful for how you talked me through things and just listened. It really mattered more than you probably know."

Rachel mentioned that the pregnancy center was very helpful, that she took classes there, and received baby supplies.

She said it was a combination of her conversation with Option Line and seeing her ultrasound at the pregnancy center that led to her choosing life for her son.

Option Line’s reach is global, connecting people to pregnancy help across the world.

Oakley first contacted Option Line in April of 2025. After graduating from college, she took a teaching position in Asia and while she was there, she met a man who was there on vacation from another country.

Oakley thought she'd never see or talk to him again until a month later when she found out she was pregnant.

Completely overwhelmed, she reached out to Option Line and talked at length about her options and what she might do. The consultant was able to send her information for a pregnancy center in her hometown, one near her in Asia, and one in the country where the father was.

Oakley reached out in January to share that they are now married and recently welcomed their baby girl.

"I’m beyond thankful for everything, for my husband, our daughter, and for this little life we’ve built together,” she said. “I’m so lucky. Thank you again, for being such a big support through all of this. I truly appreciate you taking the time to check in and chat with me."

The number of women and men Option Line reaches continues to grow and because of this more and more lives are being rescued from abortion.
