Who is really behind a billboard campaign targeting veterans with abortion?

In case you haven’t heard, Vet Voice Foundation (VVF), a military veterans advocacy group, has partnered with The Brigid Alliance, which advocates to provide transportation for abortion access, to sponsor billboards in Virginia, Georgia, and New Mexico. The billboards proclaim the slogan, “We’ve Got Your Six,” a military-derivative phrase that means, "I've got your back."

The billboard catchphrase is meant to imply that transportation to abortion centers will be provided for veterans who are seeking to end their pregnancies.

The billboard campaign is in answer to the Department of Justice reversal last December of the Biden administration’s decision to allow Department of Veterans Affairs doctors to perform abortions at taxpayers’ expense.

In Virginia, a billboard near a VA clinic states, “Confidential abortion support for service members, veterans, and their families. You make the appointment, we handle the rest.”

No military code here; The intentions are clear as a bell.

“We get people to abortion care, whatever it takes,” The Brigid Alliance’s website states.

The group aims to do exactly as its website indicates: “whatever it takes” to make sure women find access to abortions whether they reside in areas that offer such abortion access.

Just when we think the abortion lobby can’t go any lower, they aim their nefarious agenda at our nation’s heroes, our veterans.

So, what does this mean?

I believe this is a tactic of the enemy to defeat those who are already hurting and have them diminish more human beings in the process. As if the pressures of potentially being in the position of taking life in literal battle are not enough, they want them to kill their own children.

How clever. How evil.

I want you to understand the enemy in this.

The devil often wants his victim to feel like he is on their side. He lures them in and then pounces.

It’s no coincidence the marketing tactic is this military code.

The “We’ve Got Your Six” saying, code for “We’ve got your back,” originates from World War I air pilots telling one another they are right behind them. A clock format is used to refer to position, and six o’clock would position another carrier directly behind the receiving carrier.

Veterans are the targeted audience for these billboards, but really, the real targets are the unexpected pregnancies in the wombs of those female veterans.

The women in these scenarios are being manipulated into yet another political agenda from the Left and the abortion lobby.

Naturally, the temporal forces behind this, colloquially known as “pro-choice” lobbyists and advocates, are bent on preventing life from winning. They will do whatever they can to stop that from happening. It’s a tactic that extenda beyond them to the true enemy.

I am not afraid to say this enemy is not in flesh form.

In researching this issue, I was led to an Instagram post from the feminist group Her Story, which told the tale of a military woman who took the abortion pill in Georgia and ended up in the emergency room. She was allegedly charged with murder. The post proclaimed “the law is being weaponized in real time.”

The feminist group totally missed the real problem in this case.

Why was she in the emergency room?

Once again, they claim to care about women and completely bypass the real point of protecting their well-being.

If abortion pills are safe and reproductive “help” to which veterans should receive subsidized access, why would they result in her ending up in pain significant enough for an ER visit?

Do you see the diversion here?

Here is another common example.

Arguments for veterans’ abortion access have been made in the case of military rape victims. This is a scenario that is very sensitive and should not be ignored.

Unfortunately, according to abortion proponents, the unborn babies are the “enemy” in these scenarios. The spiritual forces are whispering in the ears of those who will listen. The lie is that the baby must die for the sin of the father.

The truth of the matter is that penalties for the perpetrator need to be harder. Where is the military justice for those committing these crimes?

The bottom line is that the enemy is very sneaky.

When the laws are not in their favor, the “pro-choice” activists will pull workarounds to push their agenda. They have crouched down in enemy camp and are aiming to creep in and assault their victims in a tactic of trickery. Providing transportation and easy access to abortion endeavors to make them look like heroes to these women who are often suffering from trauma.

That’s what Satan does. He makes it look promising and hopeful.

Jor-El Godsey, president of Heartbeat International, commented on this sad attempt to lie to veterans:

Veterans know well the commitment to defend against enemies, foreign and domestic. Unfortunately, the enemies targeting babies in the womb are also foreign and domestic. The urban Planned Parenthood office and the international retailer of the unregulated chemical abortion pill are definitely enemies of the next generation. This while not offering any compassion for helping the mother to say yes to her child. Sadly, this is just a targeted marketing effort designed to improve Big Abortion profits."

We are in the midst of war.

We are in a spiritual battle that roars day after day. We have to be on top of our game and ready for the tactics.

It’s time to cry out with another military maxim, “May Day,” which “indicates an immediate and grave threat to life, requiring immediate assistance.”

What is the answer?

It’s obvious; pregnancy help centers.

Pregnancy centers in the regions where these billboards are boldly promoting murder need to be visible and accessible. Pregnancy centers need to be as loud and proud as their adversaries in all areas.

The pregnancy center is actually the second answer.

The first answer, prayer, makes the second come alive.

Pregnancy centers need support for their own billboards, advertising, and marketing talent. They need the staff and resources to make life an option to these women who may be giving these malicious billboards a second glance.

Tweet This: Pregnancy help centers are the answer to abortion.

We are called to support those who provide life-affirming support. But the battle does not belong to the pregnancy center. The battle is the Lord’s. He will fight our battles if we diligently seek Him and look to Him.

Are you willing to go to battle alongside with your pro-life brothers and sisters in Virginia, New Mexico, and Georgia? Are you willing to drop to your knees on their behalf?

We are in this together, friends. I encourage you to pause and go to your knees. If that option doesn’t seem strong enough for you, then I especially challenge you to stop and pray.

The enemy knows military code. So do we.

“May Day” is our battle cry.

The enemy may falsely claim to women, “We’ve Got Your Six.” But we have “three,” the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
