International pregnancy help bonds celebrated with Heartbeat Conference's Parade of Nations

Human connections across national borders forged by pregnancy help were on display as the first day of the 54^th Heartbeat International Annual Pregnancy Help Conference was capped off by the Parade of Nations.

The Parade of Nations is the poignant element of the kick-off day of the Heartbeat Conference each year, a moving experience for Conference participants with the show of international bonds in the pregnancy help movement.

Heartbeat is the largest network of pregnancy help organizations in the U.S. and the world. It's Conference is the premier event in the pregnancy help movement. Heartbeat has reached 102 countries for affiliates.

The Parade of Nations includes each flag from a country where Heartbeat International has an affiliate presence, the flags carried in a procession to the Conference venue stage where participants gather for a welcome and prayer before displaying the scores of flags across the stage and framing its two sides.

The flags of countries that have people present at the Conference are carried in the parade by individuals from those countries, and the rest by volunteers among the wider Conference attendance, framed by the other countries' flags.

This year international pregnancy help workers from 20 countries traveled many hours across the miles to be present for the Heartbeat Conference. It is a time of fellowship, learning, and connection for them and those with whom they interact at the Conference. The 2025 Parade of Nations culminated with those 20 flags carried to center stage.

Later in the evening representatives from two international pregnancy help organizations shared accounts of their ministry, drawing further emotion from Conference attendees.
