Dear Ohio, we know many of you are disheartened by the passage of Issue 1. But take heart because we still have pathways to protecting the lives of the unborn. With that stated, we hope you will spread this message far and wide.
If you know of a woman who is pregnant and scared, make sure to alert them to important resources as soon as possible. A big one is Option Line, which can be reached at 1-800-712-HELP (4357) at any time.
Day or night.
Many abortion-vulnerable women aren't thrilled with the idea of ending their unborn child's life. They just feel painted into a corner, including pressure from a partner, family, and another third party. Sometimes they just don't see a way out of that choice.

But the good news is they DO have another path.
Here at Pregnancy Help News and Heartbeat International, we've met women still reeling from deep regret over terminating their unborn children, literally weeping in front of me.
We've spoken with abortion-vulnerable women who chose life and bask in relief over their ultimate choice.
We've interviewed pregnancy center workers who have literally saved lives.
We've interacted with selfless volunteers who know that every baby is worthy of love and protection.
Every baby.
And if you're a pregnant woman who's unsure of what to do next, we know that the new life inside of you is also worthy. And so are you.
You'll never face judgment, no matter your circumstances. Only love and support. You will receive that here in the pregnancy help community. That's an iron-clad promise.
If you're a pro-lifer who is upset at the election results, we understand your sadness and pain.
"Big Abortion won, while women, parents, and babies lost," said Jor-El Godsey, president of Heartbeat International. "Women lost common-sense protections. Parents have lost the ability to be involved in a key, and dangerous, component of their child's medical and emotional health. And babies have been denied their bodily autonomy to grow as God intended."
But he reminded us once again there's still a path forward.
"The work of pregnancy help will now be the only thing that can help women from the entrapment of the abortion profiteers," he said.
Please make sure abortion-vulnerable women know they can say ‘no’ to the high-pressure, no-other-way-out tactics of organizations like Planned Parenthood and other abortion proponents. We can give them a chance to hold their babies and know that their world is not ending. It's just beginning, and we have her back.

Remember our job as followers of Christ:
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." - John 13:34-35
Now, let's go out with love in our hearts, filled with infinite patience, and focus on saving lives. Gently, humbly, openly. Don't let your anger and pain get the better of you, for that can only cause us to stumble.
Let's move forward. Together.
