The Pregnancy Center of Greater Toledo recently added abortion pill reversal to its services, providing an urgent lifeline for women who change their minds after beginning a chemical abortion. This new option is already making a life-saving difference for mothers in northwest Ohio.
Adrianna is one of those mothers. Already raising two small children, she faced an unexpected pregnancy and began a chemical abortion in a moment of panic. Almost immediately, regret set in. And thankfully, reversal was an option.

She reached out to The Pregnancy Center and received prompt care, including a same-day ultrasound. The scan revealed that her baby’s heartbeat was still strong.
Abortion pill reversal is an updated application of a progesterone treatment originally used to prevent miscarriage since the 1950s. It uses a bioidentical version of progesterone, the natural hormone necessary to sustain pregnancy, to counter the effects of the abortion drug mifepristone. Statistics show that more than 7,000 lives have been saved to date through the Abortion Pill Rescue Network.

Savannah Marten, Executive Director of Bella Vita Network, reflected on the moment: “Adrianna came to our pregnancy center and had an ultrasound which determined that that precious little baby was saved. There was a heartbeat. That is the quality of redeeming grace.”
And, in fact, that moment changed everything for Adrianna.
Today, her daughter Brooklyn is alive, and Adrianna notes, “Without you, Brooklyn wouldn’t be here today.”

Adrianna’s story is part of nearly 200 lives saved through The Pregnancy Center of Greater Toledo in recent years. Last year alone, 77 percent of women who saw their baby’s heartbeat on an ultrasound chose life at their center, demonstrating the profound impact of timely care and compassionate support.
This is just one example of how pregnancy help provides judgment-free support, practical resources, and hope rooted in Christ’s love. The Pregnancy Center's work is part of the broader Bella Vita Network, which also includes Soul Purpose, which helps college-age women discover their worth in Christ, and The Haven, which provides after-abortion care and outreach.
This Christmas season, as we reflect on the “dawn of redeeming grace,” Adrianna’s story stands as a living example of restoration and new life.
She added, “You gave me the chance to hold my baby in my arms."
