Thousands Rally to Help Modern Day \"Mother Teresa\" on Go Fund Me

(PRESS RELEASE) - Sarah Huang has personally rescued more than 80 children before they were abandoned, trafficked or killed in China. Her powerful testimony was heard yesterday at a congressional hearing on Capital Hill that addressed China's new "Two Child Policy."

Not only did she share her own dramatic story - of fleeing China last week in order to keep her pregnancy - but also spoke up on behalf of "the thousands of women like me who are pregnant in China today and are crying out because their babies (and bodies) are not protected by our government or it's policies."

"This is the most difficult thing I have ever done, but any mother would do what I am doing for my child," says Sarah.

Thousands of Americans have responded to her story and are rallying behind her with support at www.gofundme.com/SarahHuang.

Matthew Li, co-founder of China Life Alliance, whom helped her escape, said, "We are thankful for all those who have shown their support by sending notes, advocating on social media and getting involved in her Go Fund Me page... Sarah has always gone to great lengths to help others but now it's our turn to help her. This is a very difficult time for her and her family. She still needs help to save her baby!"

Since, 2013 international media attention has been drawn to Sarah, a humble pastor in China who has been nicknamed the "Mother Teresa of China," as she courageously helps women who need to hide their pregnancies, and escape coercive and forced abortions from the Chinese family planning officials who are demanding that they abort. China Life Alliance Co-Founder, Jennifer Li and Sarah Huang pleaded with President Obama yesterday to denounce China's population-control policies, which continue to produce forced abortions and sterilizations.

Although she is facing her own desperate situation, Sarah was advocating for others:

"I believe that the people in this room, in this city, and in this country have the courage to stand up for what is right and I believe that you deserve to know the truth."
